I can’t fucking wait to see what they do with the AWE DLC
Maybe it’ll lead to an ACTUAL Alan Wake 2 that has something to do with Control
AW ended on such a cliffhanger there’s no way they can wrap it up in just a DLC

Also, did you know back in 2012 for the ending song of the download game Alan Wake’s American Nightmare was a song by Old Gods of Asgard
There’s a section of the song where if you reverse it it says “It will happen again, in a town called Ordinary” SEVEN YEARS before Control
AW2 might have morphed into Control as a way to make it multiplatform who knows, but Remedy planned SOMETHING with a town called Ordinary heads before Control

One of my favorite things about Alan Wake (and presumably Control as well) is that the fake band Old Gods of Asgard and the REAL BAND Poets of the Fall (the band that plays Old Gods) BOTH exist

This series just isn’t for me anymore I guess?
I hate resource collecting, I hate crafting, I hate city planning, all the shit the series shifted focus to and all the stuff it shifted away from made the series just not for me anymore.

I’ve found a lost item twice but BOTH TIMES the first villager I asked basically just told me who it belongs to instead of asking around???
I’ve NEVER had them ask for a specific fruit/bug/fish/piece of furniture. I’ve NEVER had them ask if I could deliver something for them. I’ve NEVER had them ask if I could get something back for them.
There’s literally no point in having villagers in this game anymore other than seeing them do something and say “oh, that’s cute”, and then that’s it

Every time I boot up nh and talk to my villagers I’m like “what is the point of even having villagers in this game at this point?” because 99 out of 100 times the only thing you can do is have some say like 2 lines of recycled dialogue at you and that’s it.
RANDOMLY it will give you the option to give an item to them or they’ll MAYBE ask you a multiple choice question but like that’s it???
