how fucked and/or perfectly appropriate is it that people are learning tech only because tech led to video games

is this the secret? do we just need to gamify ethics somehow? is that possible?

is this even sense

maybe it's meta. they're storifying the executive meddling and giving the canceling parties a middle finger on the way out. "try to make this a classic without a better ending tacked on, you fucks"

(this is 99% joke and 1% genuine curiosity. also totally uninformed, I haven't seen S3 yet and I'm trying not to think about it)

I am not sure how high I am currently but like

uhhhm

it may be pretty high 😏

ICE stopped a man in his car outside his home this morning. When he refused to open his door without seeing a warrant (which ICE refused to show), ICE busted a back window and dragged the man from the car. When a bystander asked about a warrant, ICE threatened to shoot her.

Anyway: Point is, OBS lets you not only shift around different sections of the interface, you can group and retile them via a fairly intuitive* process to reshape your interface space.

This. Is. Perfect.

This should (IMO!) be mandatory for all 'advanced' controls for any interface at or above firearm complexity? (Where there's standard principles, but also there are some variations/abrogations on those mechanical commonalities shared amongst examples of the category, roughly speaking.)

NGL, I am HIGH AF at the moment but I just discovered the intense joy that is the control interface for OBS. This is like silly putty for my adult self. This is basically.

This is what interfaces should be. In my dream world, this is what every "advanced" interface is capable of.

Holy shit, okay, with caveats given above (altered emotional state), maybe I'm catching sight of a real epiphany -- does "advanced" really mean the same thing to average users as to the more practiced folks?
