Maybe it's because I love hearing artists talk craft, maybe it's because in spite of being HoH I grew up in a family of musicians, I love hearing people talk about the music they make and how they make it, or other people breaking down a musician's work to its principles. Strong Song's episode on Andor and Friends at the Table Post-Mortems are great for this.

To me being a butch ain't about blue jeans and black tee shirts, flannels and boots, it isn't about fixing cars and woodworking either. Being a butch is about integrity, it's about considering others in all we do. It's about opening doors and uplifting others, it's about being the solid foundation and the rich, fertile soil in which others grow.

People aren't used to that, they aren't used to being considered, it's often scary to them. But I hope that someday everyone gets used to the feeling.

My baseline should not raise people's standards. Everyone deserves so much more love and care. And by everyone this also means you, reader

They were coming, I felt them since Sunday. Something about them makes the poetry flow a little easier

I love being able to take care of my friends, neighbors, and chosen family.

I made a ton of drinking valves for my community to be able to install in their masks and I'm really proud of that

Working out for the first time in two months after breaking my foot and finding relief in the fact that I haven't atrophied nearly as much as I feared and am in fact actually able to progress.

@TheJen I had to do this last year on a flannel that luckily I had a scrap that was of the same palette. I ended up patching it and using the patche's pattern as a guide to blend the two patterns together in (my own opinion) a way that looked most pleasing.

Every time I read a poetry connection half a dozen new poems grow inside of me
