It was a mistake bringing my files and current project in my backpack today. Not doing anything with it but it's siren call beckons me

Am I sleepy due to lack of sleep or because I simply not stimulated enough by anything short of shaping wood

I need to go to bed but I want to keep testing out my mini carving files

I love watching it all wake up, even on a rainy night

I'm sitting on the porch, revelling in the reflection of stretlights on rain soaked red, budding leaves

Made a green tea with some recently foraged magnolia buds added in. I simply love the peppery bite to them, balanced with a touch of salt and a little honey. Tastes of days newly long and the bite of a cool rain

Blessed to finally have a bit of a support structure in a way I haven't had in years. Gotta bake another casserole for my friends

I have all this wood to test out whether or not I'm allergic to them, now that it's nice out I think i might make some sawdust and do swatch testing like makeup hahaha

Like when the superhero has a hacked together costume and the villain is just as hacked together and shoddy, that's the good stuff

Went to the teeth zone today and used a hacked n95 nose mask as always and I love how it makes me look like a superhero's starter villain with all the tape and whatnot

@Genderqueerwolf oh nooo, reminds me of when I found a copy of The Princess Bride that ended up having like five different language subtitles and none of them were languages I can read 💀

@Genderqueerwolf that's been a consistent issue as I'm deaf. Too many times I've found a dvd I'm excited to grab and then finding out that there are no captions or only French/Spanish subtitles when I get home and I unfortunately am not fluent in either hahahaha

@Genderqueerwolf I've been collecting DVDs, it's been amazing finding the fancy cases with bonus features that I wanted so badly when I was younger and broke for less than two bucks

Every time I am woodworking I feel like I'm carving a bit of my humanity back into existence

I'm pretty and handsome in ways they don't even have words for yet

Just need to make sure I don't teach a hot guy how to make them as he might turn out to be wicked and foul
