You ever held a beautiful smiler's cheek as they grinned so hard they can't even open their eyes and planned a firm, loving kiss on the opposite cheek? The cheeks firm up even more, the sound of exuberance releases through their smiling teeth, and you briefly know the shape of heaven. This is why my type is smilers
Every day I collect poems for them. Every morning I read one, maybe two in a voice message. I could record them in advance, they would probably come out better that way and save me a little time as I get ready for work. But I know they miss my body in bed with them as they wake, how could I deny my love the raw, physical humanity of a voice, rough with morning, draped in words as soft as skin?

PMDD is a stinky son of a gun and I simply do not recommend it. What do you mean because the full moon is coming I feel like I'm going to crawl out of my skin and break my own back and if I don't spend six hours sobbing I'll eat someone alive???
My love is printing copies of my poetry to give to people after I read it tonight. My love is bringing chairs so that people have a place to sit in the empty house this weekend and enjoy the food I am making them. I am the sunflower trellis and they are the vine, growing and supporting each other. Often I've shown lovers pairs of animals and objects saying "us" but never have I felt the simile in my body like this before.
Maybe it's because I love hearing artists talk craft, maybe it's because in spite of being HoH I grew up in a family of musicians, I love hearing people talk about the music they make and how they make it, or other people breaking down a musician's work to its principles. Strong Song's episode on Andor and Friends at the Table Post-Mortems are great for this.
To me being a butch ain't about blue jeans and black tee shirts, flannels and boots, it isn't about fixing cars and woodworking either. Being a butch is about integrity, it's about considering others in all we do. It's about opening doors and uplifting others, it's about being the solid foundation and the rich, fertile soil in which others grow.
People aren't used to that, they aren't used to being considered, it's often scary to them. But I hope that someday everyone gets used to the feeling.
