@thamesynne ugh, this sounds super inaccessible :(
and apparently, because of being dropped in between two GICs a couple of years ago, there's not that much in my notes he can fall back on, so i think he wants an authoritative account from me of what's actually happened in the past & what i want from the GIC in the future

in fairness, he would've done it all in the interview; it was me that raised the possibility of taking it away & writing something, instead of having to marshal answers to questions on the spot

actually newcastle seems to be one of the more modern GICs in outlook; the problem is that my GP doesn't know me at all (today was the 2nd time i've seen him) & also this is his first GIC referral... so he's not entirely sure what he's doing
