@lambdagrrl OkCupid is still the only dating site that's worked for me, but asking Twitter (or presumably Mastodon) mutuals in the same city if they want to hang out sometime isn't a bad idea and has led to some good friendships and even on occasion some kissing.

Patience on OkC is _really_ important, though. It can take months and months to meet someone good, in my experience. But it's still better than anything else I've tried.
