thinking about what it would be like if programming was viewed and treated more like an art than a tool for producing profit
Im not sure where I'm going with this because like,, it's just a random thought
but i think programming would feel very different without capitalism
I've lost count of how many times I've been told "But why would you learn <x>, you won't find a job that requires it"
it,,,, makes me upset
