Just fitted a new oven and apparently it has Sabbath mode? This presumably makes it behave like an elevator in Brooklyn.

Okay. The oven didn't appreciate the joke because when it got to temperature it tripped out the RCD (GFCI).

@tryst that happened when we got out new oven as well - apparently there's an issue where, if they sit in a warehouse a while, might end up a touch more moist than they can handle, and they basically need to sit on a bench supply for a while to dry themselves out... hopefully it's just that :)

@leinir Figured it out. "Bench supply" is a euphemism for "no CPC connection". I've put it on 280C for a few hours and then I'll take new Riso and Ileak readings.

@tryst sounds about right - this also is at least part of the reason I tend to leave that to people who actually know what they're talking about, but at least it should hopefully do the trick :)

@leinir It did the trick. It's no longer tripping the RCD. Insulation resistance is still a little low, but it is improving with each use.
