@Nifflas @terrehbyte I'm not sure, but... perhaps growing and shrinking feedback loop? You can then have a growing negative feedback loop, or a shrinking positive feedback loop (which then confuses the old terminology, but also is fairly clear in intent)... sleepy thoughts, but maybe useful?
