I am always taken aback when someone dismisses fantasy as "escapism". What's wrong with escapism? What's wrong with longing for different worlds than this? Have you seen this world? Its brokenness and sharp thorns?
Did you not grow up desperately looking for your door elsewhere? Did you not immerse in beautiful worlds as sustenance, for moments of joy like wings?
For a time in my life I stretched out. Grimdark, New Weird, etc. But no more. Give me hopepunk and found family. Give me escape.

The company has about 100 laptops here. Dell, i5 CPU, probably 6 years old. I'll ask for more detailed specs if anyone is interested.
We're selling them off, wiped and reinstalled with a fresh vanilla Windows.
They'll go for 100 HKD ~= 10 EUR. If you want one I can send it to you if you pay the shipping. That'd be like 30 EUR I guess to most of the world by surface parcel.
IT said maybe they won't do it because of lack of interest, so I hope I can get some interest and they won't have to become e-waste. They're all in good shape, mostly used in a climate-controlled office for max 3 years before they went into storage in the same climate-controlled office.

An update on that recommendation for what ship to get - the introductory offer on the Drake Cutter starter game package ( https://robertsspaceindustries.com/pledge/Packages/Cutter-IAE-Starter-Pack-Warbond ) is currently by a long way the best value starter package, at least until the 8th of December, when it's due to increase up to its intended full price. Also, if you want to nab Squadron 42 as well, that'll be offered for an extra 20 quid at checkout (it'll look weird when it's offered,but it'll become 20 when you add it to the cart) :) as always,ask!
@baralheia @Doran_Eirok It's not just the ships - i commonly have to just stop and look at the scenery because it's just so very pretty... There's an ugly storm brewing in EU software security legislation that could seriously impact open source software development. Those of you in the EU should read this article and do some lobbying. The goals of the legislation aren't unreasonable, but the conformance-testing burden would totally overwhelm the OSS community.
