Write a paper letter if you can afford the stamp. When we successfully challenged the 2015 VATMOSS system seasoned campaigners said sending paper letters to relevant govt depts was the most useful thing supporters could do. Legally, letters must be opened, logged, filed. Sacks of mail make an impact.

I guess I’ve wondered for a while now how we will know the moment when fascism has unequivocally arrived either in the US or UK.

There were Jews who recognised that same moment in 1930’s Germany and made escape plans.

I’ve just witnessed a number of GoFundMe pages on here for trans people to escape from the states they had long called home.

That moment is no longer a theoretical possibility, it’s sadly arrived. We can’t just pretend it’s not happening. We need global action.
