@sarahssowertty rather than it falling through per se, I think SLG/ININ just hasn't been able to get their shit together
recent talk from them suggests they might finally be on track (and this announcement might've pre-empted an announcement on their side) but I wouldn't necessarily take them at their word...
@gosokkyu SLG/ININ not getting their shit together does sound about right :V I must admit, I haven't been keeping up with what they've been up to... I guess they still haven't got Spica Adventure out?
@sarahssowertty nope, and SLG's 2~3 years behind on a ton of games (including stuff that's been released digitally and/or at retail by other publishers or even ININ in the interim)
Spica's particularly curious because Taito themselves barely acknowledged the announcement, if at all, and it's obviously not something they can just slap in an emulator, so... who's porting it, exactly?
@gosokkyu Whoof. At least there's that G-Mode version of the mobile game out on Switch :S But yeah, none of this sounds surprising
@misty @sarahssowertty @gosokkyu they do have the guy/team that ported Rainbow Cotton and just wrapped X-Out ...
@lion @sarahssowertty @gosokkyu Hmmm, yeah. X-Out was published by ININ too, huh? That seems like a real possibility
