it was a create your own from Tops Pizza which is a smaller UK chain mostly based around London. I guess there's demand for it elsewhere though because I often hear people complaining that they can't find Tops in their area
my involvement with linux and open source started when i was, like, 12. i remember excitedly upgrading to slackware 9. within a year or two of that i had all the computers in my house running as linux thin clients with a centralized NFS homedir fileserver and NIS/YP for login auth. i taught myself networking by building an OpenMOSIX/Kerrighed SSI HPC cluster (all three nodes of it lol) in high school
if the stance of the open source community at the time was some arbitrary "you must be 16+ to engage with us" BS i probably would have fucked off entirely and became a windows server admin, lol. that environment was already so mired in elitism and that kind of ageism would have pushed me away entirely
@ticky happy birthday!!!
have you heard of #webgbcam ?
it's a web tool (PWA even, add it to your home screen!) that uses your device's cameras to simulate the look of the game boy camera! you can record short gifs with it and there's also a 1bpp atkinson dithering mode!
ONE-STAR HEROES: playing bad games to pay my bills!

I'm a day late on this but the demoscene is now part of UNESCO culture in Norway!
Congratulations, Norway!
