As for Gensei Suikoden, not being familiar with the original I didn't realise at first, but "Plus" actually has completely redrawn graphics, so all this very nice pixel art is brand new. Here's some comparison shots via https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQd7bdvnbho
If Gensei Kaishingeki looks familiar to you & you're the particular kind of weirdo I am, you might have played the arcade game Shocking by Yun Sung which ripped it off pretty closely
I was looking into the original Gensei series, they were mostly distributed with Compile's Disc Station magazines in Japan and Korea but Gensei Kitan was released standalone. Smash the dog is the recurring protag. he is Horny. the 5th game Gensei Kaishingeki concerns his hunt for legendary porno
somehow this was actually the first furry event of any kind i've ever been to...! it was cool!! sorry I didn't post anything before going I was mad anxious lol but I probably will go to another one of these so if anyone would like to meet up at a future one lmk
In Australia, SEGA is pronounced SEE-GAH but in some other countries I'm led to believe it's pronounced SAY-GAR.
After intensive research I have found that SEGA is a shortened version of "SErvice GAmes of Japan", which sold slot machines to US military bases after WW2.
So SEGA is most fairly pronounced SER-GAY.
There you go, now nobody is happy
