btw this is a proprietary wireless controller from a famiclone & the console is pretty much useless without it so i would like to replace the battery. of course the cost of one single battery from a UK seller is more than the famiclone is worth

It's quite small, only 150mah and probably fully discharged, I accidentally left the controller switched on in storage so that's probably what fucked it. So I don't think it's full of like maximum explosivity but IDK these things make me anxious

found a swollen battery in a controller 😬 it's stuck w/a foam pad but the adhesive doesn't seem very strong, would it be safe to wiggle it to try and unstick it? or could that risk damaging it? would I be better trying to get something plastic under the pad on the PCB side and unstick it that way?

By the way I sometimes accidentally refer to Rocky as Pocky because both Pocky and Rocky sound like animal names to me. So if I ever mention Pocky I'm probably actually talking about Rocky. If i need to talk about Pocky I'll call her Sayo-chan
