"Fediverse is better than Twitter" comments seem to often be commenting on some popular conception of dopamine neurochemistry, and while I can't meaningfully comment on the accuracy of that, I'm disappointed by the implication that it's somehow morally un-virtuous to have computers making my mind produce the good feeling chemicals.
If I can use other drugs in a responsible way, why not wireheading?
