It's amazing how much the phrase "living rent-free in my head" has been used on social media over the last couple of years.

@BenPaddon So, uh..... that phrase is really weird to us now that we know we're a system. Who owns their head to charge rent for it? How would they ever evict their headmates? Are they really expected to each have their own separate incomes and checking accounts?
I do not envy any system that works that way.
