Honestly considering just turning autocorrect off completely. :/

Today I told a friend I was trying to “focus more on whole foods,” and it capitalized it to “Whole Foods” (just did it here too). It constantly changes “well” to we’ll” even when it makes no sense. I just texted someone, “She may not want to,” and it capitalized “may”.

Speaking as someone who was around when personal computing took hold: it feels less and less like I’m being helped and more and more like I’m being hindered.

@hollie To me, turning it off immediately on noticing or going through settings on a new device was always the obvious choice. I don't understand how people can comfortably use something so unpredictable, especially while complaining so much (and generally not wanting it pointed out that they can turn it off).
