Discord question
So if a friend sends me a link to join a Discord but then I say "accept invite" and it creates an entirely new Discord identity/account for me, what the heck is happening?
As in, how do I say, "No, just open this link in the Discord app already running with my original longstanding account already live in that?"

@hollie Copy the link, switch to the discord app, scroll all the way down on your server list, click the + (Add a Server) button, in the window that pops up click the "Join a Server" button at the bottom, and paste the invite link.
And yeah I'm not a fan of the "create a new account without being asked" behavior either.

@madewokherd Thank you! I was able to get it to work earlier today but yeah I also really hate the auto-account-creation crap.
