is there a name/idea for the thing where sincerely buying into the ideas & values of a group directly leads to disagreeing with and/or exiting that group? like "I can't be a Christian because it conflicts with my Christian values" level of thinking.
cuz I have a lot of that w/r/t the "Rationalist" community/movement
I should write about that sometime because I have Thoughts
