I have gotten way too into SteamGridDB. First just idly wondering if some game has artwork and browsing, now making my own custom artwork for an obscure game. I'm actually having fun making the silly menus look nice. -Cole

It's so much better. I'm not accidentally hitting buttons I don't intend to. There's actual resistance which makes it much easier to release buttons (doesn't require actively lifting toes). I'm actually making the inputs I intend (on my right foot at least), and it makes it so much easier.

One of the great gifts of being trans is that if you find one area of your life that you must drastically change in order to live as your authentic self, you can keep pulling on the strings until all the bullshit society imposed on you unravels.
Sure can be exhausting though.
@hollie FWIW, we're quite certain that we'd be different when speaking Japanese because we have a specific headmate who handles that. Although, sadly, we don't know enough Japanese yet for her to really express herself. -Autumn

The people who now say I'm not a girl are the same people who used to tell me I was such a girl before I told them that I actually am a girl.
I think they just don't like girls.
Memory says that, shortly before realizing we were nonbinary, we posted something like "I'm not cis, btw" to twitter, no context, not really knowing why or what that meant. It doesn't seem to make much sense, is that really how it happened?
