Earlier today I was reminded of a shenanigan from 2015 in where @scunning and I took an Apple Lisa 2 to the Apple store on April Fool's day. The employees ended up getting a huge kick out of it, they found it a lot more entertaining than people who tried to fool them with cracked screen iPhone wallpaper. https://retro.social/media/-dz5mwjWsY58n65VFRw
@mary @scunning We never really did a writeup on it, but this is basically it: We were inspired by a similar thing where a bunch of people brought old Commodore hardware to a Starbucks in Toronto and tried to think up something similar. I had recently finished restoring a Lisa 2 and decided it would be pretty hilarious to take it to the Apple store and say "Hey, we found this old Mac, any idea what it is?"
