btw, on German birbsite, some people use #EheFürEinPaarMehrAlsVorher ("marriage for some more than before", coined by @cuffedCatling@queer.party, iirc) instead of #EheFürAlle ("marriage for all") to highlight exclusions

I'm not super knowledgeable about these issues, but some that I know of are: – weird rules about spouses of disabled people re care – disabled people not being allowed to decide over their life anyway – gender is mentioned explicitly, but some German citizens, mainly intersex people born after 2013, do not have a legal gender – marriage still only between 2 people, not more
