3. I really like smoothies (even though I'm usually too lazy to make them), and the best part is drinking them from a colourful plastic cup. Today I had a blueberry smoothie in a bright turquoise cup. It was wonderful.

2. Well, that one is actually a confession, I use Spotify, because I'm too lazy to maintain an actual music collection. I've paid for premium twice in my life, once when it was 0,99€ for 3 months, and right now because it was 9,99€ for 3 months, which is still way cheaper than, well, the same for one month.

1. Right now, I'm sewing new velcro on my outdoor sandals. Outdoor sandals are (well, almost) the only kind of summer shoes that i like, I am truly sorry, but I really can't change it. (Sewing velcro on things is super annoying, wow. I'm about 11% done though.)

Okay, birbsite is doing this, so why not!

For every fav, I will toot a fact about myself.

@nicolai probably not, frankfurt is a bit far from me and none of the people that i am planning to visit live near there

@nicolai thank you

they are good buildings, i like how they are doing their best to be the nicest shapes concrete can make

anti ace ~discourse~, sex

And all of that came from an interview with the editor of a very openly anti-queer book (of the "queers are harming everyone with their weird ideas, why can't we just have gay sex like we used to" variety).

And people are taking that seriously, but the COOL thing is that there is a lot of talk about offering information and condoms/dams/gloves in a way that works for everyone, but also, that's mostly aces forced into a defensive position by this bullshit, and gnah.

anti ace ~discourse~, sex

I don't actually want to spread this discussion, but it's so bizarre that I feel the need to talk about it outside its bubble.

On German twitter, the strawman that "aces want to ban condoms and/or sex (from queer spaces)" is being used for a huge anti ace shitfest. People are talking about how it ~endangers everyone~ when condoms/dams/gloves are available in strategic places at parties[ that are not primarily about sex], instead of being offered to everyone personally.

@nicolai That… is actually very likely, thank you! I will from now on embrace the brutalism

That awkward moment when you have to admit to yourself that you like the aesthetics of military aircrafts ~.~

Maybe I should just rewatch BSG and be happy about the Vipers or whatever. *feels a bit gross*

I think I wanna set up a simple blog to put longer notes on. Any recommendations for something self-hosted but really easy to manage, or something hosted but open and trustworthy? (Not Telegraph, thank you)

Framasoft's "degooglization" project is freaking incredible. If you're looking to replace some proprietary service you use, or if you're looking for a good Open Internet cause to donate to, definitely check it out: degooglisons-internet.org/list

I'm currently working on an article about the pan-Asian response to Taiwan's ruling on same-sex marriage and I'm looking for people - especially LGBTQ women & non-binary people - from across Asia to interview. (I'm including ex-Soviet Bloc/Eurasia in this, such as Armenia, Cyprus, or Georgia.)

I'm especially looking for people from Brunei, Bahrain, Afghanistan, and Bhutan since finding them has been tricky, but anyone from any Asian country works too.

Please boost & share!

I remember being a teenager monologuing to a friend about being too shit to deserve books, and hating books for that, or something, so I guess the answer to "why did I stop reading" is depression, just like the answer to most other questions ✨

I read so many books as a child, and I read so fast o.O But I usually didn't remember the plot at all, I didn't really understand that remembering the plot was a thing people did, lol. (Until I met people who actually remembered the plot of Harry Potter and were smug about that.)

Oh. Oops. I bought THAT (from the publisher's store like I'm trying to do more often), and then somehow I remembered that "Chameleon Moon" is 99 cent on amazon right now, and I went and bought that, and then in the recommendations there were "The Long Way to a Small, Angry, Planet" and some other book that I marked want-to-read a while ago for less than 1€ each, and I bought them too… which would be cool because books, except I don't really read a lot anymore, so, I feel weird m)

Okay. Saw "Storm Season" by Pene Henson in a rec thread. That is… a "being trapped in the wilderness" f/f story with possible hurt/comfort. I am interested :o store.interludepress.com/colle
