@Stoori on librarything they seem to work better, at least for some niches. probably because users can make recommendations there and others can up/downvote them. but sadly librarything can be annoyingly complicated, it took me long to understand some basic functions.

I have some thoughts about making a Persian-speaking community here in Mastodon. This may consists of several steps:
- finding Persian speakers already here
- translate Mastodon interface into Persian
- reporting and fixing RTL bugs in the interface
- making a new instance with Persian defaults
- inviting friends from Twitter, G+, etc. to #Mastodon
If you speak #Persian, #Dari, or #Tajik, please boost this toot!

lol idc about these weird jumbled words though because i'm just tired an di should probabaly not be interneting right now?
it is ridiculous, yes, but come on the word was in the url that i posted and things like this always make my feels super embarrassed, like, everyone got a good view into the ways my brain jumbles everything and just uses random stuff with no connection to what makes sense
yes sometimes i use a different word than I intended to but this is so much more bearable in forms of communication that don't just stay there, for everyone to look at.
