When I got into language learning things a few years ago I'd never have thought that I'd ever prefer Anki over Memrise, but yeah, no, I don't know what could make me use Memrise anymore. (Okay, well, I do – a really good "course" / set of flashcards that someone else made and that I have no issue with and that I find by accident because looking for things on Memrise is hell.)
Memrise is the most extreme example of a thing that went from pretty good to almost unusable that I can think of.

Lol I tried to look for jobs… I have no idea how anyone manages to work 40 hours a week, I barely manage to _exist_ 40 hours a week.
I just unlocked the "you used Duolingo in 2 different time zones" achievement, without even leaving my city. I like this approach. Could you apply that to the actual language learning too *is going to learn all the languages without ever stopping its sleeps*

Idk if I'm just not very focus-y in general right now or if it's because of the style or the way it's read, but I'm trying really hard to listen to Ninefox Gambit as an audiobook and I keep missing things and not knowing what is going on and this is so frustrating :< I want to read it, but.
I'm… not the kind of person who gets consumed by any games ever, at all. I have trouble remembering that they exist and that playing them is an option so I do that like every 4 months for a few hours.
Omg I just remembered that I had a dream a while ago about playing Shadowrun Dragonfall by kind of being inside the game but not quite. It was super frustrating though, mostly running around the Kreuzbazaar and having to do things and forgetting which things.
…anyway what made me remember this is that I wanted to play Shadowrun Hong Kong today but now it's late and I'm tired :<
