why #Facebook is not an honest publishing system (I run a large fb page, btw)

My post got 155 views by my likers, but facebook offers to ALLOW 348 of them to see something they wanted in this first place by liking my page but ONLY IF I PAY FACEBOOK one euro.

Facebook sells my likers back to me and holds them hostage. Fuck that.

"collection"

I mean

the box where I put dice that find their way to me somehow :3 *is not a collector cat*

Oh. *uses some online dice roller, when my meatspace dice collection is less than a meter away from me*

Oomg, there is a hoax about a "confirmed" Daria movie, again, and at first I believed it, and I'm pretty disappointed now.

Drawing to rules

Procedural generation doesn’t have to be done with computers. Computers open up a lot more possibilities, of course, but there are plenty of examples of non-digital generative processes.

Like this method of drawing to rules, used by Immy Simth. It’s hand-drawn generative art. If you want to make generative art, but you can't program, this is a good way to start.

9. I prefer hot cocoa with 2/3 to 3/4 water, and only the last bit milk.

It's also faster because I don't have to heat milk. I probably discovered this preference due to laziness in the first place.

Since I'm working I have enough money to buy nicer clothing, but unfortunately I have not enough time to go shopping. Any recommendations for learning how to shop online for clothing?

"The new version of iOS features a new interface and redesigned App Store, but also removes support for 32-bit devices and apps. (...) That means anyone with an iPhone 5 or 5C will no longer receive software updates for either new features, or more importantly security fixes."

Yup, this is what planned obsolescence looks like. Because fuck the planet and customers too.

Tumblr continues to be
– cat pics
– things that make me angry
– people who make me envious

That's a bit of a difficult subject imo, but I'm also interested in the results, and the survey has plenty of text boxes for… well, the difficult things.

What

There are no official audio books, only some abandoned fan projects

I'm feeling so attacked right now. That is not how it is supposed to be.

Naming is hard! Learn how names work in programming. At the learner’s meetup by @OTS_BLN Wednesday, June 7, 19:30 in Berlin. After a short talk about naming, we have a mini-barcamp where you can ask all your questions about tech and tech-culture.
We are a beginner friendly and discrimination aware group.

There's a picknick for that occasion in Vienna (Austria), ask me for details if you want to come :)

I love the idea of that day. Here's a text explaining it, in German: grantel.blogsport.eu/einfach-m
