why are literally all replacement X61t batteries the same fucked up shape that from the factory literally already prevents the laptop from sitting flat let alone docking it

i found one with a flat underside that should make it dockable but it's 300 bucks and i don't want to spend that much on a new battery i don't super need because i already have a shitty-shaped replacement one :/
