god ugh trying to search online auctions for oscilloscopes and there's a neat used owon sds7102 but the seller strung me along deactivating both listings he had for it for $1700 and $1850 only to later relist it for $1950 while i was asking him questions

the worst part is that as far as 100mhz 1gsa/s scopes go $1950 is still the cheapest price! so i'm torn between spending a lot of money on a shitty seller or spending even more money on a lesser model like the hantek dso5102p or the rigol ds1102e

talked the iffy seller back down to $1850 and bought it😩 let's hope i don't get buyer's remorse...

it'll be good to have a scope for the lab finally, for troubleshooting retro hw & my own projects... i can already think of uses for it for the sms fm board & ps1 disc calibration

i'm really really bad at making big purchases like this, tho honestly it's the same price as a nintendo switch and at least i think i feel a little better spending that amount on a lab tool over a console i'm not going to afford games for
