cis should not be considered trans allies for doing the bare minimum of not killing us, if you want to call yourself an ally then actively fight against the forces that want to commit genocide against us or shut up

you're not an ally for just not going in an enraged panic that your friend came out as trans.
you'll be an ally when you stand up for them when they're being kicked out of their home, fired from their job, denied healthcare. when you work to make it so those things can't happen.
