here's what the disaster garbage that took those pictures looks like. it could barely register as a toy today. brand new in box (sitting there since like a decade ago anyway) and it feels like i'm about to break it every time i pick it up

here's that same sunset with my phone, hastily and without proper white balance (i was in a meeting and didn't take proper time to set up the shot, light was pinker to naked eye)

here's a couple of pictures in similar conditions (bright sunset, post-sunset regular room lighting), taken on a 2001 Sony Mavica FD-75. it records on FLOPPIES. loses in resolution but damn if it doesn't look a hell of a lot better otherwise

anyway i just wanted to talk about cameras for a while. honestly i want to find a nice cheap 2000s digicam that compliments my fd-75 but they're all sold at a premium as collector's items these days
