PLEASE do not use thread reader apps without asking first.
They take the content of the tweets (without consent from the writer) and put it on a separate page where they can make revenue off them.
It also keeps some of your content publicly available when you try to go private.

for those who wish their threads not be scraped like this, you can block the bots that do this function so they cannot automate reading your posts
unfortunately i don't have a list of those bots handy, if someone does feel free to reply with it
