i like the word "sapphic" because i like that it relates to Sappho. i don't like "sapphic" to mean "not lesbian". i am a lesbian, fuck you.

i wanted to call myself sapphic more but now because of Identity Politics by principle i need to call myself lesbian in order to ward off exclusionists from getting the wrong idea about me
