i miss ten years ago
i used to be on irc. i used to be in the middle of furries.
some of them would even roleplay with me sometimes
i miss that so much.
i can't recapture it
and aching to get it back is hurting the people i love

@mavica_again for what it's worth, i think you're cool. i think what you do is cool with streaming and tech, and i think your fursona is cool as hell. robot rabbit? fuckin' rad. what have you tried re: getting back into the middle of the fandom?
@PsyChuan i've been mostly kicked out of the fediverse and this account was only reinstated as a mirror for my twitter. i don't know any other people i can reply to any more than i already do. i am not a part of any communities, and i don't want to use f-list because it's mostly just for sex and i want friends who aren't into each other just for the sex.
@mavica_again that's fair. i won't pry about the kicking out thing, it sounds like it's got bad memories. i certainly don't know much about twitter. but regarding the replying, it's kinda... i didn't know anyone, literally anyone, when i joined here. it was literally just finding random posts i vibed with and responding.
other than that, i know of a cozy furry discord server i could drop you an invite to.
@PsyChuan 4 years ago the fediverse was a lovely place where i met a lot of friends. 3 years later most of them backstabbed me and dogpiled their communities to harass me and my girlfriends. i only restarted this account out of spite and to keep a lazy eye on this instance i started back then
@mavica_again yeah i know how the fediverse can get like that. that sucks. i'm sorry you had to deal with that.
@mavica_again well i remember you said you'd tried F-List a while ago. F-List isn't really a uh... good place to start. it's super hard to get like... noticed. but the chat room can be pretty cool. i hang out in a room for robot characters on there. i wouldn't know what to do on Second Life though. i've never been able to get anywhere with that beyond people i already know.
really the way i found the community i hang out with now was just by responding to the random things people post on here.
