in a public discord i am 3 people were circlejerking about film photography and so i decided to join in because i'm already having a shit fucking day and because of cliques and me not being part of any of them anywhere not even here they just went away the moment started speaking
so i'm just going to share things here out of spite because i hate myself and i want to die and i'km craving attention anyway. starting with my nikon collection and a sunset with one of the digital ones. i think the D5100
some pictures with the N80, Lomography F2 400 film. i develop all my film at home and the scan setup i have is a total disgusting jury rig so most bad quality is from shitty scans until i get off my ass to make something better which i never will because i'm a dipshit
these are done with a kodak hobby 35mm and fuji superia 400 film. it's an absolute shitty 80s low-build-quality all-plastic point-and-shoot. i replaced the flash bulb in it without destroying it too much. go me
lastly the oldest shoots/dev/scans i did so the worst quality ones. these are with a 1958 meopta flexaret iv left behind by my grandmother and fuji 160ns film. it's stiff and in dire need of repairs but if you work around them it works fine
ALSO: it's almost entirely too commonplace in film photog circles to perpetuate the elitist rule-shitting that you can't develop C41 without really expensive gear and extreme care. i'm here to tell you the first roll i developed i didn't even use a thermometer
and it's so weird to me this disparage because the same circles will tell you you can experiment b/w developing with things like crushed painkillers or ground coffee. but C41 needs to be pristine. fuck that, no, you can absolutely do it on a budget. here's all my gear
