kinda hate that a big part of the whole y2k webcore movement is a person w/ 1000s of followers who put me on full blast because i knew more about serial protocols and voltages & was trying to warn someone against damaging the rare dectalk they picked up at a fucking thrift store

kinda hate that i can't get the same amount of people backing me up like they do. the internet is made out of fucking bullies i swear to goddess

i was trying to do something nice and i got fucking chewed out about it and when i complained i just got mocked online like yeah ok go ahead and mess with stuff you don't know about and then wonder why it doesn't work and then laugh at old white youtubers when they do the same.

god i'm just pissed at people who think they're so entitled because their number is big enough they know people will just go bat for them

i wish i could be unbothered about this and people will get on your case for letting it get to you but that's just blaming the victim. social media is designed exactly to elicit this sort of environment and to say otherwise is to be in intense denial and masking

Follow

13 of my mutuals follow this particular person and i would be lying if it didn't feel like betrayal. like i've reiterated before i'm not trying to play purity politics but it would be nice once in a while if people told me whether they actually think i'm right or just tolerate me
