this is the exchange of emails that led into this. i haven't been on botb for about 8 years now following the rape threats. it recently came back to haunt me so i asked nicely for my accounts to be removed. this was his responses. i didn't want anything else to come out of this
but now i'm going to be a piece of shit back to you because that's what you seem to want, so here you go. battle of the bits is a festering cesspit and i want people to know that. what they do with that information is not my problem.
it is SO easy not to be a piece of shit on the internet but people constantly seem to put effort towards hurting others for no other reason that "haha wouldn't it be funny if i totally owned this person who was threatened of rape on a platform i run"
every time i tell my experience with battle of the bits the new people who are all over it today are quick to tell me "oh it's not like that anymore it changed!!!" and let me be the first to tell you that no. it has not changed. this was less than a week ago
btw the reason why i had two accounts? when i came out as trans i'd wanted to change my usernames everywhere & botb still had my old one. i asked him to change it since you can't do it yourself, but he told me to just make a new one. turns out he could've done it this whole time.
just saw on the wake of this another person request their account be deleted. it was deleted as well but "weirdly" enough, this time the account name didn't change into something vulgar.
