i think mastodon's CW is a bandaid to twitter's shortcomings more than it is a solution to anything

i think ideally a system of circles or topics like google+ had would be much more intuitive than figuring out a freeform label for every single one of your posts and readers having to click show more in every single post
mastodon people treat their software like this bastion of good customs because now you can hide every single one of your posts in name of quality over quantity and here i am sitting thinking about how they actually have neither
@mavica_again I definitely thought the Circles in G+ was one of its better features.
like maybe i'm ok with selfies, and/or eye contact. maybe i want to tick a box that automatically shows me all selfies with eye contact, instead of having to click to open the post and then click to show each image in that post.
