apparently there's no way to open a 7zip file on linux the same way you can open zip files inside a file browser, you have to use the 7zip-desktop snap package which isn't allowed to see external drives love the linux go linux baby

i should just install windows 10 on this laptop and be done with it linux fucking sucks half-baked ass operating system for incels

"you don't need 7zip-desktop you can just install p7zip-full and caja will open your files!"

caja:

i've been trying different things and now i can't even open bog fucking standard .zip files either caja now just says "there's no software to open this kind of file, do you want to search for one?" and saying yes is the same as saying no

also why can't engrampa show real actual progress extracting a file rather than just a "please wait"

you know, it's almost like the developers of linux want people to move to windows
