i mean as far as i understand there are sound engineers who were still swearing by them up until the 2000s so i'm pretty sure all remaining working units are still in their hands and if not they've become increasingly unobtanium collector's stuff

since i'm on the subject did i fabricate memories of peter vogel being particularly unkind towards wendy carlos? i could've sworn i read it somewhere but in searching i couldn't find it again
