the entire interface of this machine consisted of:
- one designer who was not used to the scale of 320x240 pixels and had no software that would directly accommodate it because they came from a mobile design background
- me doing skunkworks "i can put images on this screen"

- the skunkworks was until i got a library wrapper to build higher-level UI elements upon, took 3 days of off-task work, to show something to convince my manager
- was only facilitated by the fact we had a linux-based reader w/ the same res so we used most of that initial design

considering that i basically did ALL the heavy lifting to pull that off AND that the product went to market EXACTLY how i left it when i quit the company

holy shit they should not have kept me as a JUNIOR engineer
