the thing that turns me off on cohost the most isn't the unchecked boilerplate ToS
it's the kind of people who have immediately started defending it tooth and nail like they can't do wrong and seeing any other website as competition
because i've already been in a cult once
i kind of suspect this although it feels early to say. i'm waiting to see if the same exact people manipulate their way into positions of power (since afaict they do not run the site)
@mavica_again i'm going to get some (a lot of) flak for this but it feels like Snouts 2.0
