i wonder what compelled HP to release a windows mobile device with twice the resolution of standard devices at the time and not at least dress it up nice so that you have a random picking of icons in 2x while the others are in native res? windows mobile feels so drab in comparison to palm OS
@mavica_again@computerfairi.es such an interesting time period honestly. Like Microsoft buying Danger and building the KIN while also shipping CE-based WP7 but actually that was deprecated the whole time in favor of the NT based WP8 😵💫
@LunaRogue the only reason i can imagine for the hp ipaq line to continue existing as old CE handhelds in the year of our lady 2008 is some form of tax evasion/money laundering/contractual obligation. they feel so phoned in
