it's a really interesting design choice form canonical to still not have #bluetooth audio support in 2023 on #ubuntu
@frostwolf no, it doesn't have it
@mavica_again That's weird, 'cause I'm pretty sure ours does, unless using Kubuntu makes a difference here for some reason.
@mavica_again (...we no longer have a bluetooth thing to test with, though)
@mavica_again @frostwolf it does, I've been using it for years. Have you tried using the Bluetooth widget? That will allow you to pair with an audio headset/ headphones etc
@roomey @frostwolf yeah it doesn't work
@mavica_again @frostwolf I'm sorry, it's a pain!
@roomey @frostwolf this is why people switch to windows which thankfully works
@mavica_again @roomey Hah. Windows was WORSE at pairing with our PS4 controller, at least on our last computer.
@frostwolf @roomey i don't have a ps4 i have a bluetooth speaker
@mavica_again Bluetooth works great for me. I have a cheap generic receiver for a car stereo hooked up to my hi-fi and never had an issue
@yaldi yeah but it doesn't work because it doesn't support bluetooth audio
@mavica_again maybe the problem is within you
@yaldi no it works fine on windows
@mavica_again wait, what? We've had bluetooth audio just fine for ages.
