it's just so miserable using a computer nowadays. all the operating systems are just awful aren't they

with each new update there's a new thing they've started doing that i don't want, and an old thing i do want that they've stopped doing. and it's literally just down to one thing: the incentives aren't there for anyone to make them work in a way that i would consider 'good'. the people making windows, the people making mac os, the people making linux? they don't agree with me, their opinions are the opposite of mine. we're in conflict! that's why it's getting worse, they're winning!
