i stopped watching television in about 2008 because it just wasnt very good. i dont really know anyone my age who actually sits down and switches on a tv and watches it. too much garbage. probably this will happen with the internet sooner or later
@jk assuming (very reductively) we moved from print to radio, to TV, and now to internet, what do you think will replace the internet
@mavica_again something with even higher bandwidth, immediacy, and intimacy? not sure about the exact implementation, but it'll be some kind of technology where you can personally meet your great-great grandparents, feel the sharp lunar regolith on your bare feet, go on a date with a porpoise, that kind of thing
