windows is such a horrible operating system, it's completely unusable! you cannot do a single thing on it! now where was i resolving package dependency conflicts through ssh on a whole second computer to re-enable any use of my graphical interface
linux is Fine. it's All Right. if you need something to run on a 10 year old laptop or know how to execute the ancient sacred runes. it's the proselytizing against windows that i tire of. your breaking updates are no better, bucko!!
@mavica_again I use Windows professionally and Linux at home and find them both usable in their space. I run Linux at home because Windows sucks at most everything I do at home, but it serves the corporate control purpose well in the Enterprise space. Each tool has its purpose and place.
@wbpeckham this is what i've preached for long. i've used linux on and off for different tasks since knoppix nearly two decades ago but the moment i criticize something on it people think i'm exclusively a windows shill. well i'd love to call them to explain better but they don't have working sound yet !!!! :V
