is there a linux text editor that doesn't use gtk
@mavica_again i think kde's text editor is called Kate
@lilongueti it also tries to install all of kde with it, which is less than ideal in windowmanager
@mavica_again emacs --no-window in a terminal ?
@tchauhan i like my mouse
@mavica_again nedit ?
@mrklein at a glance very promising. i'll check tomorrow!
@mavica_again maybe you want to give vim a shot? It's great! Works everywhere and no mouse is needed.
@delightfuldude i think pointing devices are the future
@mavica_again didn't expect that!
Chapeau! 😀
@mavica_again
I don't know if it's this helps but I use KWrite and Kate.
i am asking this because i want a text editor in windowmanager that does not have the broken gtk font rendering
