Does anyone recognise this #Apple2 mod? Connects between the keyboard and motherboard - the grey wires go to a toggle switch. The red one to an IC grabber clip. I have no idea what the grabber is supposed to connect to. The ICs are both 74LS02s.

@philpem i don't own an apple 2 nor am i super well versed in them but i saw recently that a common modification was to send shift key presses to a joystick button because the shift key on apple 2 works different than expected for common word processing usage
